Isn't it strange that people do not let go of things they are so fond of ? It could be a relationship or things they treasure ? Life is so ironic as when people actually fall in love at first sight and then next they find it has turned sour.
Why does it happen ? No one knows for sure. There could be many reasons. It could be just coincidence. Or it could be very nature of human beings, which does not allow people to let go. Or is it decided by GOD Almighty ? What is popularly called as fate ?
The illogical sense of reasoning of humans obviously does not provide any answer or reasoning The reality is it is the feelings that work for people. Within you, what is of importance is how you feel about others and not  how they feel about you. It is not reciprocal.
Sages have been advising from time immemorial " Life is all about letting go.' But do we really let go ?
The fact is that letting go is the most hardest things in life. No matter how much we hold back, tears will always be there.

WHY THE GRASS IS ALWAYS GREENER ON THE OTHER SIDE

We look hither and yon, and pine for what we've not/ Our deepest longings are never for what we've got...
Anecdote from a person who worked in Sweden for Volvo

The first time I was in Sweden , one of my colleagues picked me up at the hotel every morning. It was September, bit cold and snowy. We would arrive early at the company and he would park far away from the entrance (2000 employees drive their car to work). The first day, I didn't say anything, either the second or third. One morning I asked, "Do you have a fixed parking space? I've noticed we park far from the entrance even when there are no other cars in the lot." To which he replied, "Since we're here early we'll have time to walk, and whoever gets in late will be late and need a
place closer to the door. Don't you think?
